ROCK ME GENTLY, ROCK ME SLOWLY, THEN ROCK ME GENLTY AGAIN, THEN A LITTLE MORE SLOWLY, AND SO FORTH

Say you’re band has a really big gig coming up…you’ve probably been practicing every other day for a few weeks now. You harmonizing is perfect, you could set a clock to your tempo, and everyone knows to repeat the last chorus four times before ending. But none of this will matter if you’re not playing the right songs in the right order for the right crowd. Sloppy decision making on this front can make or break your set. Think about who you’re playing for, what is going to grab their attention, what will keep their attention and what will leave them wanting more. Your NEXT big gig could depend on it.
