One
of the least talked about social-media-like outlets is SoundCloud. If you’re
not already familiar with the service, it’s basically like a GoogleDoc or
DropBox but more public and also, as the name suggests, tailored specifically
for music. If you don’t know what a GoogleDoc or a DropBox are, then you might be
using the wrong Internet. Basically, SoundCloud allows you to database your
music on the Internet, in a place where, theoretically, anyone should be able
to find it. As usual, there are a number of ways you can squander the use of
this outlet. One of these is to name your “Cloud” something no one would ever
search for. For example, most people don’t know your grandmother’s maiden name
and you probably don’t either, so definitely don’t use that. Also, referencing an early Flaming Lips album that no one born after1986 has even heard of (as I do in the title) probably isn't a great idea either. For a guide to
