'Clouds Taste Metallic'...But So Do Some Forms Of Currency...

One of the least talked about social-media-like outlets is SoundCloud. If you’re not already familiar with the service, it’s basically like a GoogleDoc or DropBox but more public and also, as the name suggests, tailored specifically for music. If you don’t know what a GoogleDoc or a DropBox are, then you might be using the wrong Internet. Basically, SoundCloud allows you to database your music on the Internet, in a place where, theoretically, anyone should be able to find it. As usual, there are a number of ways you can squander the use of this outlet. One of these is to name your “Cloud” something no one would ever search for. For example, most people don’t know your grandmother’s maiden name and you probably don’t either, so definitely don’t use that. Also, referencing an early Flaming Lips album that no one born after1986 has even heard of (as I do in the title) probably isn't a great idea either.
