When a band gets to a point when they are starting to ‘make
it’, there suddenly becomes a lot to do. Planning tours, keeping website and
social media up to date, keeping track of deadlines for this or that from the
record label and distributors. Almost invariably, they wind up hiring
specialist like tour mangers, promoters, PR people and maybe more. While it is
important to take some these logistical duties off your plate, not just because
you don’t have time but because they are likely to be better at it than you.
