SoundExchange Owes Tens of Millions to Musicians! It Could Be You!

The company SoundExchange just released a list of over 50,000 bands and labels that are owed money in royalties. For anyone who has never heard of SoundExchange, "it is a nonprofit organization entrusted by the Library of Congress to collect and distribute royalties for sound recordings streamed on Internet radio, satellite radio and cable music services." 

They have already paid out over $1 Billion in owed royalties, and are the only company in the US that collects and distributes these royalties. If you're a musician and you want to check their searchable data base to see if you have some unclaimed money out there, click here!
